BC Yukon Mining Online Expansion

Prince George, BCMarch 19, 2020 – Northern BC Mining (northernbcmining.com):  managed by the Pacific Prairie Consulting Group announces it has changed its name to BC Yukon Mining (bcyukonmining.com), effective March 1, 2020.

Northern BC Mining.com began more than nine-year ago, achieving recognition in 2019 as one of the Top 30 independent mining sites in the world. With more than 1,000 unique daily visitors, the site became a go-to resource for industry professionals and investors seeking the latest news stories from Northern BC, many of which focused on exploration in BC’s Golden Triangle.

“For two years now - at PDAC and Roundup - we’ve had stakeholders from the Yukon pressing us to expand our focus,” explained Pacific Prairie’s Managing Partner Norm Adams, who also edits the site. “Considering the trade relationships that exist between the Yukon and British Columbia – Northern BC especially – this was a natural move.”

The change in brand also reaches to include their social media footprint, as well. The site has 1,128 Facebook followers and over 600 Twitter followers and uses these mediums to post timely or poignant news stories that relate to larger topics of natural resource extraction and First Nations consultation. “We’ve been at this for nearly a decade! In that that time, we’ve had a front-row seat to the contribution natural resource extraction makes to our economy. We’ve also seen the downsides too. We’re looking forward to featuring more original content to our sites. In doing so, we can be both a reporter and a contributor and represent the regions and from those who live there,” said Adams.
